Equalizing the Oregon Opportunity Grant
When a single mother struggling to make a living takes the fateful step of going to college, we celebrate her choice and reward her with an Oregon Opportunity Grant – unless she chooses to go to an accredited career college.
Our proposal is to equalize access to Oregon Opportunity Grants for all qualifying students, regardless what accredited educational institution they attend.
Hundreds of Oregonians choose to attend accredited career colleges because of the educational value they offer – small class sizes, hands-on instruction, and a successful track record of placing graduates in good jobs.

I explored what Pioneer Pacific College offered and chose its pharmacy program.
